About this deal

Opening exactly the same as the two previous iterations of the T-series, one opens the blue cardboard much like a book. Pretty cool, actually. But this time, there is a cutout on top so one may view the detached IEM’s nestled softly in a foam insert. With the soft gray color of the T3, you could almost imagine there is a sleeping tike inside…almost. The cable of the T3 also feels amazing, and although it is a bit tangle-prone, it is the highest quality cable in this entire review. Best overall build and sonic quality, despite the T3 not being the most pricy IEM from this entire list.

Among the 3 LCP-containing single DD Titans, I feel the T3 Plus are the weakest of the lot. Where to Buy

I also noticed that the EM6L is quite dependent on the source material and the DAC amp connected to it. When I connect it with my Moondrop Moonriver 2 Ti, the mids and trebles are a bit smoother and more forgiving. Whereas with my Fiio Q3, songs with bad recordings or sibilant sounds come through as such. With the Xenns Top, either connected with Moonriver 2 Ti or Fiio Q3, songs with bad recording or sibilant in nature do not sound as bad as they are. The lows are presented in a rich manner. Subbass is forward and noticeably has more focus than the midbass. Subbass reaches very deep, accompanied by a slightly elevated amount of decay. Midbass is tighter in comparison, with a sufficient weight and slam that never interferes with the mids. The blue-nozzle eartips are the shortest of the lot and have the narrowest bore diameter. These tips give the shallowest fit, and increase soundstage, though they provide the least isolation. Based on a computer database of human eras, the T3 Plus is designed for optimal fit and comfort. In fact, it’s almost identical in shape to the Tin Hifi T5 but is slightly smaller. The T3 Plus’ shells are 3D-printed resin with a smooth hand-finished surface.

The Olina are easy to drive, but as per most single DD IEMs, amplification improves dynamics, soundstage, micro-details, and bass tightness. The T3 Plus follows the Harman target in principle with respect to its midrange tuning, with a shallow recession in the lower midrange followed by a broad elevation in the upper midrange. The upper midrange is smooth and omits the dreaded presence region peak. Vocals are exceptionally clear for an IEM of this price, especially with respect to male vocals. The T3 imbues melodic male vocals with a lushness uncommon for budget IEMs. Female vocals sound slightly less vibrant in contrast, but this is a tradeoff worth making in my opinion. The T3 Plus also does a very good job of preserving the audibility of underlying instrumentation, which is a common pitfall for IEMs with Harman-ish tunings. I do not find the T3 Plus to be sibilant. Midrange timbre is mostly natural but exhibits hints of plasticity and compression, as discussed earlier.

All-in-all, quite well done treble, balancing extension without veering into fatiguing territory. Comparisons

The Aria are arguably the main competitor of the Titan S at this price point. They also use an LCP driver and are a huge crowd favorite. In fact, the Aria are one of my recommended balanced sets for those looking for a good budget pair.T3+ is a very well-tuned IEM, as simple as that. The timbre is decidedly more aligned towards organic natural – not exactly neutral, but well balanced to dwell between the region of being warm and bright. Slight emphasis on the lower frequencies, notably with pronounced Sub-Bass presence. Dynamics exhibiting great maturity and control with vibrancy – which means it is not as euphonic as some very exciting and lively sounding IEMs. Imaging is also average with instruments mostly being placed left and right. You can sense the distance on the X-axis but anything in-between X and Y-axis tends to lose precision. Dynamics and speed No monetary compensation is/was involved before, during, and after the period of creation of this review.

With the aim to satisfy every avid music listener, the TinHiFi T3 Plus is here. This IEM has been tuned to achieve the perfect balance – in sound and design. Its high-quality build and technology are used to make sure that it’s perfect for everyday use. Actually wearing T3 Plus you can totally feel them in your ears, but they are not uncomfortable, and the shape is very smooth with no edges, so they feel very natural in my ears. The over-the-ear wearing style means that there will be absolutely no microphonic noise on the cable, and you will be able to walk, and even run while wearing them. They isolate quite well from the outside noise, with a 20 dB of passive noise isolation, and there’s no drier flex despite the IEMs using a dynamic driver. While early TinHifi models were quite average in terms of comfort and design, T3 Plus looks like it will actually be quite ergonomic, and the faceplate can finally be called beautiful. Inside the IEM we have a 10mm crystal liquid polymer speaker, and they have a sensitivity of 105dB, paired with an impedance of 32 OHMs. This means that they won’t be very sensitive to hiss, but may be harder to push at higher volumes. The rated power is 3mW, while max power is 5mW. Due to their lightweight nature and ergonomically shaped resin shells, the Tin T3 Plus are very comfortable to wear and they isolate well. Internals We listened to more songs than those named in this playlist, but those are excellent for identifying a sonic signature. I recommend trying most of the songs from this playlist, especially if you’re searching for new music! The playlists are different for Spotify, Tidal and Youtube, and based on the songs I enjoy and are available on each!
